Wideopen FC is more than a football club. We are a community anchor for thousands of families across Wideopen, Seaton Burn and the wider NE13 area — providing affordable, structured sport for over 600 players every week.

We have an ambitious phased facilities programme underway — from clubhouse improvements at Lockey Park through to a new full-size 11v11 4G pitch at Seaton Burn Recreational Ground, in active discussions with the Football Foundation. Better facilities mean more teams, more girls’ football, more community access and a sustainable future for grassroots sport in NE13.
